El Alto touches the sky with the arrival of the first SARIRI bus

On October 15, the population of El Alto had the joy of knowing the prototype of the metropolitan transport that will place the city of El Alto as the third city in Bolivia to have its own and very particular service like La Paz and Santa Cruz.

Sariri Bus

Sariri buses have three access doors, an elevator for people with disabilities, upholstered seats and the possibility of using personal cards and WiFi inside. Like the Puma Katari that transport hundreds of passengers per day in La Paz, El Alto prepares to make the trip to work or Sunday outings an event.

Inside the bus

The buses are blue to match the characteristic Alteño sky, on the outside it has Andean designs on both sides that evoke figures of condors and other Tiwanakotas. Inside, comfortable padded carbon fiber seats, spaces for disabled people and large windows to take a closer look at the peculiarities of this city.
