Bolivia closes borders with Brazil for 7 days
The Bolivian government has decided to close the border crossings with Brazil for 7 days from zero hours on April 2, which may be extended according to the reports that are made at the end of the term. According to the decree promulgated, this measure responds to the increase in infections in border cities such as GuayaramerÃn and Puerto Quijarro , allows transit for three hours a day between both countries and allows for the partial or total closure of other border crossings if necessary. Likewise, the contracting of health insurance for non-residents and a negative PCR test with a maximum advance of 72 hours will be required to enter the national territory by any land, air or river means. Additionally, a 10-day quarantine will be necessary and another PCR test will be required on the seventh day.
