Uyuni carries out a cleaning day at the train cemetery

 At the head of the French Alexis Dessard , on Saturday, March 27, the cleaning day was held in the train cemetery of the city of Uyuni, famous for the salt flat of the same name. Throughout the morning, more than a hundred people made up of volunteers, officials from the mayor's office and the military organized to give a new face to this tourist place. The initiative went viral through a video where the French tourist calls the population and its authorities to reflection to return its magical charm to the place and that all who go can better enjoy this place full of magic and history. From early in the morning, the Uyuni neighborhood council, the IV Loa Infantry Regiment and some other tourists concentrated in the place and it was the army band that started the activity with different tunes. In the afternoon, the place  fi nished totally clean, 2 tons of garbage were collected and the train cemetery awaits its visitors with a new face so that they are part of history and know

A land of contrasts: Salar de Uyuni
