A trip back in time awaits in Sucre

 The Fancesa Municipal Cretaceous Park emerged in 2004 thanks to the efforts of the Sucre's city council and Fancesa cement company, becoming the site with the largest number of dinosaur footprints on the planet. It is located at Km. 5 (3 mi) of the road to Cochabamba and very close to the Cal Orck'o cliff where dozens of footprints are stamped on a rock more than 110 meters (360 ft) high and 1000 meters (3280 ft) long. All this happened 68 million years ago when southern Bolivia was submerged in an inland sea that allowed dinosaurs to live close to the sea where they walked to drink water. Thus through the centuries these footsteps were consolidating to form the current rocks.
