La Paz is already one of the 7 wonder cities of the world

 A few days ago La Paz was officially named one of the "seven wonder cities of the planet" by the well-known New 7 Wonders foundation. The city was chosen from among 1200 cities that virtually competed to receive the most votes in each of its phases.

The wonderful city has a lot to show its visitors and adapts to all types of tourism. In it there are great architectural works such as the church-museum of San Francisco, museums that show pre-Hispanic cultures, the colonial life of the city, its folklore, the golden age of the railways, etc. There are also engineering works such as the 3 recently released cable cars that show an almost complete panorama of the city.

If what you are looking for is adventure, there are packages where you can climb colorful mountains to the south of the city or from the roof of the Presidente hotel in the heart of the city, fly paragliding in Huajchilla, live the snowboarding experience in Quime (not in the city itself), down the road of death by bicycle, among others.

To complete the entire tour, it is advisable to get on the Puma Katari buses, especially the one to Inca Llojeta and Villa Salomé because of the wonderful postcards that can be seen from the west and east slopes respectively.

We arrive to Copacabana

 The Copacabana sanctuary is located 154 km from the city of La Paz. There are different ways to get to this place by public transport. The first is from the La Paz bus terminal, where buses from the companies Manco Kapac and Diana Tours leave at 7 in the morning.
